  13. Here's what I know. I have fixed  "Error -39" messages by putting the 
  14. x.hqx (NOT the x.sea) file into an AMIGA-side binary editor (I use FileX 
  15. 2.0) and stripping off any extraneous stuff on one side or the other 
  16. of the x.hqx file. It can be as small as an empty space (A0) at the end 
  17. of the file. It can be the header material (everything prior to the start 
  18. of the x.hqx file). If this doesn't work, try the shareware MAC program 
  19. StuffitLite, available from InfoMAC (shareware archive). It has unpacked 
  20. files that BinHex could not.
